N TYPE Power Attenuator is used to attenuate the RF signal. After RF Signal amplification the signal may be too high and may cause saturation in the receiver side. For optimum performance of the receiver, the RF input signal must be in the input range as specificed in the receiver specifications. Thus attenurator is used to reduce the RF Power Signal. The characteristic impedance is 50 Ohms. Main advantages of Astel Attenuator are frequency range 0-3.8 GHz, finned termination for excellent heat dissipation, Low PIM, and low VSWR. Astel Terminator offers great vibration performance, excellent mechanical and electrical performance etc. This type is most widely used in Radio communication equipment, microwave test and ground launch systems, and electronic instruments.
