The ASTEL E2F Media Converter Chassis (AST-MC-14) is a 14-slot rack-mount chassis designed to accommodate compatible standalone Ethernet-to-fiber media converters in a centralized installation. It supports plug-and-play installation and can house up to 14 media converters, making it suitable for network equipment racks and fiber optic distribution infrastructure.
The chassis supports hot-swappable converter modules and can operate with single or dual power supplies. Its design allows power supply maintenance or replacement without removing the installed converters.
With a 19-inch 2U rack-mount form factor, the AST-MC-14 accommodates compatible 10/100Mbps, 1000Mbps and 10/100/1000Mbps standalone media converters. It is suitable for commercial networking infrastructure, CCTV fiber networks and centralized Ethernet-to-fiber conversion installations.
