    • ASTEL SC Series Fiber Optic Adapters (FO-ADP-SC-XX) are passive optical components designed to connect compatible SC fiber optic connectors in fiber distribution systems, patch panels and optical network installations. Their precision alignment sleeves help maintain accurate fiber alignment, supporting low insertion loss and consistent optical connections.
    The series includes APC, PC and UPC optical performance specifications, with a typical insertion loss of 0.2dB and maximum insertion loss of 0.3dB for APC or 0.4dB for PC and UPC configurations. Designed for repeated connector mating, the adapters offer durability, temperature stability and mechanical compatibility for professional fiber optic infrastructure. ASTEL lists Telcordia and TIA/EIA compliance for the series.
