ASTEL FC Series Fiber Optic Patch Cord (FO-PC-FC-XX) is designed for optical connectivity in fiber communication networks, data centres and professional network infrastructure. Featuring threaded FC connector options and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacketed cable, the series supports single-mode and multimode fiber connections for network equipment and optical distribution applications. Available in FC/PC, FC/UPC and FC/APC configurations, the series supports OS2 (G.652D), G.657A2 and multimode OM1, OM2, OM3 and OM4 fiber types. It offers typical insertion loss of ≤0.20dB, maximum insertion loss of ≤0.30dB and return loss ratings of ≥55dB for single-mode PC/UPC, ≥60dB for single-mode APC and ≥35dB for multimode PC connections. Standard cable lengths range from 0.5m to 100m, with custom lengths from 0.3m to 250m available on request. ASTEL FC patch cords are manufactured and tested for insertion loss, return loss, connection integrity and connector geometry to support professional fiber optic installations.
