For optimum performance of the receiver, the RF input signal must be in the input range as specificed in the receiver specifications. Thus attenurator is used to reduce the RF Power Signal. The characteristic impedance is 50 Ohms. Main advantages of Astel Attenuator are frequency range 698 -6000 MHz, Low PIM, and low VSWR.
