Main advantages of this connector are high reliability, great vibration performance, excellent mechanical and electrical performance etc. By using Semi Flex or semi-rigid cables, N type will have lower VSWR and frequency range can be extended up to 11 GHz. This type is most widely used in Radio communication equipment, microwave test and ground launch systems, and electronic instruments.
